Your work placement details

Please read your work placement details carefully. You should also view the company website and/or Facebook page to gain as much information as possible about the company before you arrive in Ireland.

Please ensure that you have uploaded a copy of your school's Insurance Policy in the 'My Documents' section of your database account. The Insurance Policy will be available from your teacher/school and is required by your Voluntary Work Placement provider.

If your work placement is in a childcare or nursing care facility please ensure that you bring all the relevant documents with you, including Police Clearance Certificate, to give to your work placement manager on your first day of work.

You should take particular note of your work placement dress code and bring the required clothing to Ireland. If you do not dress appropriately you will be asked to purchase appropriate clothing at your own expense. Please avoid this by packing the right clothes, footwear and, where stated, safety wear.
